JaredDavis Posted November 29, 2020 Report Posted November 29, 2020 Hi, Does anyone know of a M20C X-plane model? Thanks, Jared 1
carusoam Posted November 29, 2020 Report Posted November 29, 2020 See what Carenado has to offer... They support flight sims with different airplanes... For some reason, they focus on the latest planes... Not exactly what you are requesting, but may get you closer... https://www.carenado.com/sitecarenado/microsoft-flight-simulator-2020/ Best regards, -a- 1
0TreeLemur Posted November 30, 2020 Report Posted November 30, 2020 Hi Jared, When I looked last year I didn't see one. So I bought the Carenado M20J. It has a similar panel to my C. It's just too darn fast! It does have a full autopilot which I don't but I need one to fly a simulator. -Fred
Raptor05121 Posted November 30, 2020 Report Posted November 30, 2020 None. Your choice for Mooneys are the Carenado Ovation which is a year old or the M20J which is about 8 years old and heavily dated
tmo Posted November 30, 2020 Report Posted November 30, 2020 There is also the Alabeo M20R Ovation (which I have and do not dislike) and the AFM / X-Aviation M20 collection (which I won't touch with a pitchfork because it doesn't run on Linux). The aforementioned M20J from Carenado is probably the closest you'll get. And it will be close enough. Is Ovation from Alabeo the same as Carenado? Looks like it...
JaredDavis Posted November 30, 2020 Author Report Posted November 30, 2020 Thanks for the replies. Anyone know jknutson2 from the x-plane forum? Looks like they were pretty far into a m20c model. Last visited the x-plane forum in April. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/104450-hp-vs-mp-altitude/&tab=comments#comment-1032650
