ForeFlight Performance Plus?

Anyone here have this level subscription and feel like they get real value out of it for their Mooney? Considering upgrading but I'm looking at all the features and it seems really geared toward 135 or turboprop/jets.

I do. I like the 3D view for flying in the mountains. The Trip Assistant is neat but not a compelling enough item to pay for, in my opinion. I don’t think I use any of the other premium features.

I do - you are correct about it being more directed towards part 135, but I do like the enhanced feature set and also use PDC.

Yeah 3D view looks pretty awesome for mountain flying.  I won't get to do much of that though and out of all the airports that have PDC there's realistically only one on the list I use.

Yes, I have it. Yes I get real value out of it, but not for the reason one might think. I think the 3D view is a cute toy to play with but not worth the price of admission (YMMV). Same for the multitude of features designed to attract the FltPlan.com corporate jet/non-dispatched Part 135 market.

So what's the real value to me? I've been wanting to use the Jepp charts to see what they've done in the digital world (my last Jepp charts were paper). But the add-on cost was not worth it to me. A few months ago, ForeFlight did a promo - subscribe to Performance Plus and get a year of Jepp at no extra charge. That cut the add-on for the Jep in half and made it worth it, at least for a year.
