Hello,

I am moving to the Fort Hood area in January and I am looking for a hanger for my Mooney. I have a M20E and I really don’t want to have to put her outside. I am willing to entertain all offers and to sweeten the deal did I mention I am also an A&P IA. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan

Call KILE and get put on the waitlist. I signed up before I bought my plane and got the call recently after I PCS’d out of the area. I kept mine at TPL in a community hangar but believe the city sold it to a company. I think I kept my name for a hangar on the list at Killeen and should be at the top now but unsure if they allow a sub lease if I went for it.

Ya I have added my name to the hanger list at all the public airports that are close. ILE had 60 people in front of me and the airport with the least amount was 14 people on the hanger list. So more looking for possible sharing hanger space or spots on the private strips near there. My Mooney has bladders so I’m not afraid of grass.
Thanks
Ryan

Bladders makes you worry about grass?

Cows are known for their bladders, and they eat grass...

It’s supposed to be the Tank sealant doesn’t like bumpiness... not the bladders...

If your bladder leaks....

If your plane’s bladders leak... there are a dozen parts that can be changed out or reset to fix it...

Either way... the PIC is in charge of avoiding making bumps....

Whatever you use for motivation can work... :)

Work on those smooth landing skills... then take it to the grass strip...

PP thoughts only, not a CFI....

Best regards,
