A300busdriver Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 After Takeoff my fuel pressure went high above redline then returned to green arc at cruise Has anyone experienced this ? Gauge problem 47yrs old ? Engine operation was normal, but returned to land . Waiting for A&P to look at it
Hank Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 My fuel pressure is never high, it's usually either in the middle, wide portion of the green stripe (2 psi?), but will sometimes drop near the bottom of the green around 0.5 psi in cruise. Were you running the electric pump when this happened?
Skates97 Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 I sometimes see mine up right at red-line but I haven't found any rhyme or reason to it. I thought it was possibly because of temperature/pressure as I seem to see it fluctuate at different altitudes. I've never seen it above red-line and it always sits in the middle to upper section of the green arc so I haven't worried.
