Here are two wonderful events in Georgia. Both are great examples of promoting General Aviation through supporting G.A. Airports.

June 4, 2011  Good Neighbor Day, Dekalb-Peachtree [KPDK], Atlanta GA
PDK's annual event to welcome the surrounding neighborhoods and thank them for participating to keep PDK one of the most vibrant GA airports in the country.  The Ambassadors will be on display to talk about our Mooney Airplane Company and to promote GA to the flying and non-flying public. July 9, 2011 EAA 43rd Annual Cracker Fly-In, Lee Gilmer Memorial [KGVL], Gainesville, GA.  A celebration of general aviation at one of the most active rural airports in Georgia. Last year more than 2500 people showed up to see more than 150 types of aircraft on static display. Come and display with the Ambassadors and promote GA at this wonderful GA airport! Yeah, sorry folks...was doing the Vidalia Festival from memory. It is end of April first of May. Sun-n-Fun is end of March early April.  Sorry for the confusion.

I may have to swing down to PDK for the event.  Though I live in Maryland and am based at KGAI, I recieved half my flight training in Atlanta, at PDK, and that's where I earned my PPL back in 2004.
