I attached a few photos of the gauge.  Not sure if there is a snubber attached to the back of this one. The original parts book shows the snubber attached to the back of the gauge. Any Ideas?

The skinny line is the MP line. It will have a tiny calibrated hole a couple of inches up the line...

the red fitting looks like it could be the device you are looking for.

did the drawing in the manual give any detail? Last time I looked in the manual I remember the note regarding snubbers, but not sure if the drawing had enough detail.

If nothing else have your mechanic pull and clean the parts properly while looking for bits of dirt or dark blue deposits. Take a picture of the snubber before and after cleaning.  There is something to be learned by everybody... :)

Shouldn't take a lot of time.

PP thoughts only.  Not a mechanic...

Best regards,

First of all I want to say Thanks to all who responded. You just saved me a ton of cash.As you expected I did not need a fuel Or gauge . It was just trash in the line or gauge. So small I didn't find it. I cleaned the line and gauge and now it's working fine.  Thanks
