Ever noticed that when a conservative is in power, he/she always forgets the platform he/she got elected on, and keeps on spending away our tax money and borrowing form China and claiming "deficits don't matter"...

Yes...this is the political game both parties play. Enact policy that bankrupts us just in time for the next political party to be left with nothing to operate their agenda. It is not stupid policy and a series of disjointed, haphazard mistakes. It is intentional from the day they enter office. But like everything else, you knew that.

Well, the if you truly believe that we have a two part system and there is functional difference between D and R, who's the dumb one? At least, we  "liberals", get what we want...No wonder the conservatives are always so grumpy...I'd be too, at least the Democrats provide a steady flow of vaseline...

It is the O-man's life long dream is to forever be encapsulated in a democrat-liberal-Reagan-esque' version of his legacy. "Idint'" gonna happen. The parallels are amazing. Star Wars/Obamacare. Bankrupting us leaving the next party holding the bag. Nobody is grumpy......just a wide grin ear to ear, watching it all implode before our eyes. Bad policy, is bad policy. Doesn't matter who you are.

Everyday I wake up, I have a little smile on face, knowing that Sarah Palin is not one heartbeat from being president...Where you see bad policy, like middle east, I see someone as cynical as me, doing for the first time, what needed to be done and having no qualms what so ever about it: which is letting it all implode so that new order can rise from the ashes. Like you said before, it's not a stupid policy, or a series of haphazard mistakes. It's purposeful.

Have you seen Sarah's latest speech in Iowa. She appears to be on meth...Very fitting, being Iowa, I guess...That woman is essentially a random sentence generator with a vocabulary of 100 buzz words...It's my wet dream your "consistent primary voters" elect someone like her to run for president. Fair warning, you will never get the 35 minutes back.

Enjoy:

I am as far right as one can be...literally. Sarah Palin has no relevance in the Republican Party and I think she is only a comedic cheerleader. Nobody in the Republican Party sees her credibly holding any political office ever again. It would be as if I were an African American democrat who would sit quietly and listen to Jesse Jax. What's good about her is, they carefully choose when to use her and not, then MSNBC cums all over themselves, keeping Sarah in the 38% bracket. It is a great plan and it works. Careful, Sarah is 2008-10 news and is construed as a lib-default. There's a reason Catie Couric no longer works. Give yourself more credit.

Andy is right. When Dems are elected the voter knows what to expect. But those who blindly vote Republican are taken in by their campaign rhetoric only to witness them voting for more spending and bigger government.

You're going on and on about the horrors of centralized or socialized medicine and perhaps he feels the need to be helpful and set the record straight. I don't think he can understand Foxpublican mindsets either.

Ted Cruz still has his Canadian passport and his health card. Evil for you, though.

Hey Look at that FOXdriven is back with another psychosomatic episode....seriously, you might have issues, get it checked.

I just heard a great story on the news. Stated that 47% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Pay bills....that's it. Even more impressive...including retirement they have savings that would last them 5 months.....

This was a very interesting post by you. So knowing these statistics (if true), how are any of the 47% supposed to save a half a million dollars towards their retirement?

I am not going to give Obama "credit" for what is taking place in the middle east. Responsibility, yes. Credit, no. He precides over the same "folks" that launched the obama-care website. The current disposition in the middle east has negative implications for the safety and security of the US. He was elected to work in the best interests of our country....but NO, under Obama the US is "just another player"....NOT exceptional. O.K. then we don't need an exceptional budget for defense or domestic programs.

CUT, CUT, CUT and CUT some more.....and give me and all other tax paying American's a tax cut while gutting the IRS and simplifying the tax code.

Awesome. But heh, the economy is strong. Don't worry....and "don't get used to those gas prices where they are...enjoy it, but don't get used to it"-Barack Obama

So guess what? Someone is going to have to pay for their retirement. It will be you and me. Them death panels are sounding more and more appealing, aren't they? Whichever party comes out and promotes "death with dignity" for those unable to fund their retirement, has my vote. Soylent Green...I think we should put them all out to ice before global warming takes away the opportunity.

But she looks good doing it.

I was flipping through the channels last night and came across the funniest stuff I've seen in a very long time. "All In" with Chris Hayes hosted a 2016 Fantasy Candidate Draft. I came across it half way through and thought it was so hilarious that I recorded it and later watched the first half. Two words: Clown Car. That's the only thing that comes to mind when presented with the potential 2016 GOP candidates. You can't make this stuff up folks.

It's a full hour long but well, well worth it.

Mike.....your fly is down.

John,

You are not as far to the right as can be. You still have the Lord to contend with and it hampers your vision of true glory. It's impossible to reconcile objectivism and catholicism.

I am sorry... it has been craftily re-branded as "Climate Change". Let's get with it.

Whatever it is, you now have to accept it as truth or risk your eternal salvation. Maybe you're out of touch with the latest Vatican policy but the Pope has spoken...There is an encyclical coming down the pipe...

This is correct, because faith guides us through our daily lives. Atheist antagonism is not a seat at the table of fellowship, equal religious freedom, citizenship and worship, but instead a place where the angry, damaged and malcontent among us end up. The people I pray for. Please spell Catholicism correctly and capitalized if you could, please.

I don't vote Republican...I vote for the most Conservative candidate.

How about by doing what I have done...by living within your means! There is no mystery to it. Work hard and save. No big fancy vacation. Save. No eating out. Save. No big fancy new car. Save. No Big fancy house. Save. No hanging at the bar. Save. No going to concerts, sporting events. Save. No having a bunch of kids....

No credit card debt. No lottery tickets. No cigarettes. No tatoos. No fancy cloths. No smart phone. No satellite. No cable.

That's how.

Life has consequences. I made a lot of sacrifices. Don't come to "Big Government" expecting deliverance. Go out and work, save and watch your savings grow...

Or just say "I deserve it"...Like the Federal government does every single frickin' day...

and live for the moment instead of planing for the future.

Thank you Andy. I had not heard that speech. Now I get why you don't like Sarah...or my politics. We are TRUE conservatives. I agree with every single point she made about a smaller government "afraid of the people"...not the other way around. I would vote for her in a heartbeat and welcome the change that she would bring to the Federal Government. Instead of attacking the woman tell me what in the speech you so strongly disagree with? A flat tax? Reducing not increasing government spending? A strong self sufficent defense and energy position? Our sovereignty? Her respect for flag waving, gun owning, small town middle American's? What?

It's not what she said, it's how she said it. It's one thing to have ideas, it's another to be able to implement coherently. Maybe it's the elitist in me speaking but I've read up on her governorship in Alaska and she managed to piss everyone off, left, right and center and left a giant mess while focusing on petty little personal revenge. Everyone has ideas but execution is the key and she simply lacks the intellect to implement anything she stands for. As much as I dislike Mit's politics, he is a fine example of an executive.

BTW, back to cars for a little bit. I test drove a new Mustang GT yesterday and I am absolutely in love. What an amazing American car. It handles beautifully without losing that muscle car feel.

Sigh. O.K. I would wonder on the conservative side who she aienated. I can understand completely why an establishment type would despise her whether on GOP or Dem side. I don't know that intellect is what we need in the whitehouse. I would rather have a conservative with ability to frame ideas and lead others toward a goal that can surround her/hisself with competent "doers" or should I say "un-doers".

Wait for the new GT350. It will be "awesomer" than the GT. Yes, I get that. I bought a book on the Boss Mustang's just because I love the look, sound of the breed. Regrets on not getting one for cheap back in the day. A backseat to for others to share the fun.

Isn't it kind of a cop out for your political stance to be, "I'm waiting for everything to blow up so we can do it right next time?"

I think we have a bigger problem than the government. It's the people and their attitudes in this country.

How can you fix that? It all starts with parenting, (sarcasm)aha sterilization, only let the capable raise children! (/sarcasm)

I don't advocate some other country is better; it's probably a civilization wide problem.

I currently envision America, the people and the government, as a large mass just moving through space and time not headed in any, one direction.

What we truly need is someone who can unify our country; at the end of the day everyone wants the same thing that's so eloquently put in the Declaration of Independence...'life, liberty, and the pursuit of what we feel makes us happy.'

What we get caught up in, is not our own internal strife, it's the nonsense around us.

Why are you so concerned that someone else believes something differently from yourself?

People need to understand that accountability is not a choice, and at this point our culture practically breeds insecurity.

Being insecure is a dangerous and unhealthy thing for a brain to feel, and being unaccountable had a large impact all of the problems discussed herein.
