Gunderbear Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I have a 1965 M20E with only 200 hours on MOH and I just installed a Garmin 430W. I fly it fairly reguarly but I have a need for a larger plane right now. Annual was completed in March 2014 and the exhaust system was overhauled during the annual. 143Kts with 10-11 fuel burn at 25 squared. It is a nice easy plane to fly. 60K with the Garmin, 53K without. Bill@flaps-down.com Quote
DaV8or Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Maybe post some pictures and equipment list. 60k is a little high these days, so you should show off why it's so special. Avionics, speed mods, fancy paint ans interior, etc. Quote
wombat Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I'm looking for a M20E, and a Garmin 430W is on my list of "Must Have" equipment. I'll respond to you in PM as well. Tell us more about the plane! 1 Quote
Gunderbear Posted April 20, 2014 Author Report Posted April 20, 2014 1965 Mooney M20E I purchased it a little over 2 years ago, completely overhauled the engine, Brittian Autopilot, and performed a 6K annual to fix everything and anything that could be wrong. (I have 3 kids and wanted a safe plane) In March during the annual, I updated the avionics with a Garmin 430W, Collins CDI, and a new Turn and Slip. The IFC cert expires next month but I will have it renewed. All log books and AD's are complete and current. I have flown it over 100 hours each year for the two years I've owned it and it has performed great. Paint and Interior are about an 8 - 9. In two years time I have invested over 72K into N5781Q. Whoever does buy this plane wont have to worry about anything except routine items for many many years to come. You can see pictures here on Mooney space under my earlier post or at www.flaps-down.com I can also take some photos tomorrow morning and send to you so you can see the most current panel. I know 60K seems a little high but compared to other M20E's I think anyone can see that you will be getting a complete plane ready to turn the key and fly without the headaches with having to have it worked on first. wombat Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Bill: I don't know what I'm missing, but I can't find pics of the plane on the http://www.flaps-down.com website and I only found a few pictures from here on mooneyspace. Perhaps I'm just slow today, so please help me out. Clay Quote

Flyingtexan Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Love to see some pictures too. If one wishes to sell an airplane it shouldn't be this hard. Just sayin. Quote
Gunderbear Posted April 27, 2014 Author Report Posted April 27, 2014 The photos I took won't upload because they are too large. Monday morning I will take a video of it and post that to youtube so you all can see the whole plane. email me at bill@flaps-down .com if you want me to send you the photos directly. Quote
