Storm window Hinge screw?

I lost one of the bottom screws on the hinge to the storm window. Does anyone know were to source a replacement? Or even what size and type it is? It's on a78 201.

When you get your replacement - install them with the "special" screw to the inside - that way when they it loosens up  (again) the hard to replace one will fall inside the plane.....  I lucked out on that one!

It is the little window that lets you stick your arm out with a credit card to scrape the ice off of your windshield while flying.

The fasteners are called Sex Bolts I think they are 8-32

You don't need screws or sex bolts. Suction alone will keep the window closed.

Just don't pry it open in flight if you have a Brittain Altitude hold.  About 2 seconds later you will get a full nose down response.  Not fun at all, learned the hard way.

Another name for it is a Binding Post. McMaster is an amazing place to find strange hardware (and the normal stuff) often cheaper than Spruce.

Here are the Mooney part numbers,AN507-632r3 screw, 914071-005 for the "nut" end. So far i have a quote for the low low low price of  $9.79 for both. I think ill look locally before i give in to the airplane tax on this one.
