Hope you guys had a FANTASTIC weekend and end to March! Happy 1st of April and all April fools ASIDE, we're coming to you to let you know we will not be offering a % off this year! But, do not fear or lose heart! Right on the heels of that we are going to offer an AMAZING perk! We know annual time isn't a good time for most of you. We want to bring some joy back into those couple of days that your plane is down. We know that a hindrance of bringing your Mooney to us is all the arrangements that have to be made along with it. Starting May 1st and ending December 31st - we have an offer for every one of our traveling Mooney customers! We will cover a 2 day stay at the below linked cabin and provide you with transportation (a courtesy car) to use those 2 days! Turn your annual into a couple day vacation (bring your family if you'd like). Another great perk of this location is it is located directly behind the home of Lynn and Tamara Mace. *Please use their calendar through the link to determine the availability of the cabin. Please do not book through their site, firmly schedule with us and we'll take care of the booking. **If something happens and your annual takes longer than 2 days ( at no fault of AGL) you'll be responsible for additional days if available. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16635667?location=Morganton%2C%20NC%2C%20United%20States&guests=1&adults=1&s=11rpI9Qm&fbclid=IwAR1IfxgAlMcX5rA9UY60TqFwxYpvwfZV6p40agWbI6UYzO5ft2hzQDAF6Vw

Hi - new member here. I have about 350 M20J hours and have decided to buy a used M20R 2GX or 3GX (2005 or later to get the Garmin G1000 with GFC 700 and SVT etc. Not being lazy, but did not find answers elsewhere on the forum). My mission is ~500nm non-stop in IFR and through Class B, taking off and landing in controlled airspace. Here are some questions I could use some guidance and help with: 1. If I base my Mooney at KSVH (A&P mechanic on site but not a Mooney center) how do I get the plane to the nearest authorized service center if it needs service (if it cant be flown there)? And where might the nearest reliable center be? 2. Where is the nearest center where I could do a pre-buy inspection (could not find anything closer than Fort Lauderdale)? 3. Does anyone know of any good planes (of the type described above) for sale? 4. Can someone please describe the buying process to me and how long will it take; 5. Is it better to buy in NC or CT (I have domicile in both places); 6. Could you point me to a few links/resources where I can better learn about buying a Mooney? Many thanks
