  1. Plane plastics contacted me and said they would take it back which really surprised me. It was my fault for not researching it better but I was in a buyer crazed frenzy at Oshkosh. Thanks so much for your comments!
  2. I purchased a console headliner at Osh Kosh from plane plastics, the link can be seen here: http://www.planeplastics.com/airplanes/mooney/m20c-j/page17/k130079-037 It is the wrong part number and it is just now that I realized it. It is for some of the pre-J Mooney's just not my 1970 M20C I paid 256 dollars for it but will take 100 or any reasonable offer. It may be a little expensive to ship so if anyone picks it up at KLOU I will buy you lunch (Or I will ship it and add shipping costs to our negotiated price). It is brand new and has not been used. Regards, Jeff Allen

  6. I am writing questions for this week's pub trivia and thought you guys might like these: Tell me the mascot of each of these sports teams. 8. When I began upgrading the panel in my twin cessna I added a PMA 8000 G audio panel. I chose that model because it had the USB charge outlet- handy for phones and ipads and the auto squelch function. Now after flying with it for 6 months, my wife wanted a PMA 8000 G in the Mooney that she flies. She can't live without the auto squelch and the bluetooth music. So I pulled a perfectly good Garmin 340 audio panel out of the Mooney and replaced it with the PMA 8000. Happy wife, happy life. So the Garmin 340 audio panel is for sale. It works perfectly and is still supported by Garmin. I looked at ebay and the various outlets and see that they are selling for minimum $750-800. I am offering it for $700 if anyone on the Twin Cessna on Mooney forums want it. If not I will post it on ebay. First one gets it. Email me at jeffa@iglou.com Regards, Jeff

  11. I have an 8 month old Dynon D2 Pocket panel for sale. It works great. I added a Garmin G5 and no longer have a need for it. I bought it for $995. I will sell for $500 to someone on this or the twin cessna forum. Send me a message if you would like it. "The D2 Pocket Panel is the form and function as the popular D1, but adds a G-Meter display, and the capability to send GPS position to iPad, smart phones, and tablets by WiFi. The Dynon Pocket Panel a true artificial horizon based on the same technology that drives Dynon’s SkyView Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS)." _________________ Jeff Allen Louisville, Kentucky _________________ Cessna 340 N3LN Mooney M20C N9389V previously Cessna 310 N4395
  12. I removed a Narco AT 150 TSO transponder from my Mooney M20-C and replaced it with a Garmin 345 to meet the ADS-B out requirement. As such I have an "as removed" Narco transponder for sale. It worked perfectly for the 5 years I had the Mooney. My Mooney is a 14 volt system and this one appears to work with either 14 or 28 volt. I looked on ebay and they are selling for anywhere from $100-$750. If anyone wants it for $100 message me. I am going to put the same message on the Twincessna.org webpage as well. If no one wants it I will put in on ebay in a week or so. Also I will have Cessna 340 airspeed indicator, DG, altimeter in the near future as there will be more upgrades. If you need any of there please let me know as well.

  16. I am having the engine in my 1970 M20C overhauled. It should be ready next week. The prop got resealed (its less than 5 years and 1000 hours since new). When would you guys recommend dynamic prop balance during the break in period? Also does anyone have a recommendation to do dynamic prop balancing in Kentucky?
  17. I recently bought a 3d printer and have had fun printing various test patterns so far. One question of semantics or etiquette I guess is why not make the code available for little plastic parts like this so people with a 3d printer could print them in their home. They could also customize them if they like. Thanks in advance for your response
  18. Thanks!
