    My screaming eagle has an oil temp problem. Climbs to 220 during a cruise climb at 145 then settles to 206-209 at cruise. Just had an annual and baffling checks ok. Vacuum system was removed from air oil separator. .engine starts and runs fine . Cht on number 5 cyl 390 jpi. While moritz cyl reads 409. Any ideas? Chts come down to normal at cruise. Thanks .

    Intermittent I have a five to ten second delay in retracting the gear after the switch is in the up position. We have replaced both relays and was wondering if the switch itself might be the cause? Coming down is not a problem so far!

    I have the same problem. We had the plane up on jacks and tapped on the up solenoid which worked. Hope that is the problem. Motor and switch were ok

    Appears my gear up solenoid is intermittent. I believe the part number is 26.72.03 . Where would you recommend purchasing one or both? Thanks, Mooney screaming eagle.

    Hello can anyone show the ff at takeoff on a screaming Eagle! I used to have it set before overhaul at 29-30 but Mech says 27.2 ! Not enough and runs hot

    I had an oil ring stick on my #5 cylinder which pumped overboard through the air oil separator almost 5 qts after a four hour trip at 13000! Landed and oil was dripping from tail tie down! Engine is over tbo at 2375. All compression good except no 5 at 60. Thinking about ordering rebuild from cont in near future! Any thoughts!
