  3. Putting my bird, on the market, had a $30,000 refurbishment in 2013. leather lambswool interior,EDM 700 with fuel flow, electoair electronic ignition, new power flow exhaust,406 MHz ELT. lots of airframe stc’s, wing root leading edge, tail root fairing dorsal fin fairings, one piece window, inner gear doors etc….+ long range moonroy tanks. 12,000 to 13,500 feet sips 7.2 g.ph at max cruise speed. goes a smidgen faster than a stock 201. It’s a little hotrod. 400 left on motor, 1800 left on top. 1400 left on prop live in Australia and not flying it enough. Taking the best offer.

  8. Hi Fellow Mooney Pilots, thought you may be interested at having a look at this. It's a tribute to l think one of the greatest formation flights in history 1943 May 16,17 at midnight 19 Lancasters take of from England fly across the channel into occupied Holland and then into Germany scooping along just above the ground and sea, a couple of planes crashing into power lines. One crashing in a wave, in inclement weather, the whole of Europe in a blackout. No Gps in those days, It must have been nearly impossible to use dead reckoning at such a low height. Here it is Proms Medley, a Tribute to The Dambusters

  10. Nice Yves, you going to Oshkosh this year!
  11. L've got electroair in my E and love it. Easier start, smoother running, better climb and at 12,000 getting at least a 2 GPH saving Only heard good stories from the experimental side. Savvier and the long eze boys swear by them Haven't heard of the car industry going back to mags. Sorry , but electronic ignitions are coming and here to stay.
  12. Thanks Mr Goonie, it's a great article; you read it and think "hey l could afford one of those" 2000ft climb a minute, pull back To 55% 13 gallons an hour. I could afford that. The Rocket owners l spoke too told me "it doesn't work like that"
  13. Hi Mr Goonie, l've read that page before and it was very interesting. The jpg you've posted l can't read because it's too small. Can you repost it with a bigger file? Rgds Banjo
