Good input, she is petite, very fit and nimble so getting in the back is doable. Did the lady slide the seat all the way back and slide sideways in the back?

Ok, so just took possession of an Acclaim. Coming out a Meridian where my wife could just climb in the back and use the lady J into a big Gatorade bottle. Seems like not an option in the Mooney. My friend and fellow Acclaim owner says his wife uses an adult diaper. My wife lost her s... when presented with this logical option. Do other women use them or what alternatives do we have? Help Mr. Wizard

Just completed a prebuy/annual. Shop claims they could not find either a spot welded unit OR the riveted clamp. Said 7-9 months out. Keep us posted on what you find.

Just about set to close on an Acclaim and secure a hangar. One field has great folks (very rare these days as most airport mgrs at non-commercial fields forget GA is why they exist) but the runway is only 3450 ft. I have owned a J, Brave and Ovation so not new to the fleet but wanted to see what others thought of a home field of that length.

Looking for a partnership in an Acclaim or Ovation3. Either KPGD, KFMY or KNAP. I have a hangar at KPGD and an Acclaim working through an annual. I could partner in your plane or you could buy into the one I am looking at. I would also be open to leasing time in a plane you own. I have 3000 hrs and have owned and operated 14 planes (including 3 Mooney models) so definitely not my first go at this. Could definitely mentor a newer buyer. Pls contact me with any interest.

Yes, that's exactly what our plan is going to be. Fly in hard for 3 hrs and check to be sure no oil on the lower plugs. If there is then O/H these. if no oil, go fly it and check in 25 hrs. And yes I don't think new ones are available.

600TTEA, 2 below 50, some corrosion on 4 of them. Unfortunately lots of downtime on the engine. Might be able to replace a few exhaust values, hone them, new rings and keep flying. Maybe lap a couple of valves, go fly it hard for 10 hours and re-check compressions.

Have an Acclaim in pre-buy and some jug work is maybe in the cards. Got an IRAN price for just cylinders, remove, inspect, repair as needed and remount $17,000. Has anyone recently done a TOP with either new or O/H jugs? What kind of pricing. thx Scott
