  1. I have this exact plane.
  2. They've been trying to sell one locally for like the last year... No takers though
  3. Hi, are you still doing this? Will it fit these switches?
  4. I used this method every time up until a week ago. (See my thread about maybe replacing a cylinder.) A local guru (not my AP) told me it's no wonder I have wet plugs with that procedure and what I'm doing is washing the oil off the walls with the fuel. I was having somewhat violent shut downs also. (shaking hard, etc) I tried his method which is almost the same and it seems way nicer on the engine. T he only change is: throttle at idle. My mind was blown! My shutdown and hot start was sooo silky smooth.
  5. Are these for a certain model?
  6. My instrument CFI spun my mooney by accident. It was my first instrument lesson with him and he wanted to see what i knew by doing PPL stuff. i did power on/power off stalls and then he wanted and accelerated stall at a 25 degree bank. I told him i did them in training but my transition training for the mooney prohibited it. He was like "i read the poh, my controls..." No warning, no shudder, nothing. we went over and entered a full spin immediately. lost 1500 ft in just over 1 rotation and recovered at around 800' agl. That was my first and last outing with him.
  7. I have it. I was hoping for a searchable one..
  8. Any chance you have the latest f manual? SB 22-1317
  9. Not for anything, but i love the OP's paint scheme. When it comes time to repaint my 75 F, I'd seriously think about going retro with that scheme...
  10. Nice work! I have the interior from the 1977 m20j. Down to the yokes. I had always wondered why my yokes we're different ... Here's a link to a 77 j listing. https://www.aerolifeaviation.com/Item/Index?idun=2&1977-MOONEY-M20J-201
  11. Just went through pics... There's nothing there...
  12. I'll look next time. I also think it's odd that i have a bench. I know i have the knob up front. But i suspect the plugs are where you all said the lever was. Also, my Mooney says 1975 in some places and 1976 in others. Sn is 22-1317. I wonder if that's why it has a bench?
  13. Ive had a 75 f for about 8 months and had no idea the seats reclined... How does it work and do i have that option?
  14. Oh, i can definitely go there. I'll treat you to lunch at the hangar cafe!
  15. I'm over in El Paso tx.
  16. Thank you all for your input. I'll have a msc check it out! Sent from my LM-G900 using Tapatalk
  17. In my recently purchased F, the trim and indicator need significant adjustment. In full back trim, i still descend at 90 kts no matter how i try to slow it down. I can just open it up and readjust it but I'd like to adjust it to factory specifications. Is there a way to do this without jackstands and that weird wing tool?
  18. This is interesting, i have a 1975 mooney but my serial number is 22-1317...
  19. Thank you guys! I really appreciate the support!
  20. Hello, i have a 75 M20f also that's new to me! Could somebody forward the maintenance manual? The parts manual would also be great, thank you in advance.... teddyhherrera@gmail.com
  21. Sorry to rehash an old thread but... New pilot, 1975 M20f. Recently had a mid air total avionics failure, 375, 430, stormscope, engine monitor all shut off. Upon turning the avionics switch off and on they came back on for about a second and died again. Locql avionics shop said it was a relay. But according to the internet and you guys, it should have failed on. Are they misdiagnosing this or is it plausible?
