Hey friends! After shipping a couple of items, I did not reply to some inquiries in a timely manner as the two hurricanes, 32 tornadoes, and several floods really up-ended things around here. Hangar got destroyed, office and home were damaged... but life is good! If looking for any items, I'm back on comms!

TheMooneyAnomaly started following Something to Drool over. and Assorted avionics and yokes from 1967 M20F

Hello! I am finally listing parts from the panel upgrade of The Mooney Anomaly, a 1967 M20F with a 1968 serial number. Items are green-tagged and sold as-is. Facetime/voice/zoom/etc verification of identity, parts, etc. is available (and recommended). Based in St. Petersburg, FL KSPG but can ship with each of us verifying identities and agreeing upon a payment method that allows us both to feel safe in this crazy world of scams. Pilot and passenger yokes. IMPORTANT: The avionics shop that removed my yokes believes that they identified a crack of concern in the pilot side yoke and I must advise that this MAY NOT BE AIRWORTHY. No crack observed in passenger/co-pilot yoke. $350 for the pair. Pair of antennas part 7002 - $60 ea Britian turn and bank indicator - $75 Mag heading sensor BI-201 - $50 Sigtronics stereo intercom control SPA-4S - $110 JPI 800 EGT-701-6C $275 ASI 22-694-04-2 - $50 Altitude reporter AR-850 - $50 Tachometer D1-112-5023 - $80 EGT gauge 46150 - $50 Whelen Strobe light sync A490 & 2x Power supply $275 total KI206 VOR/loc/gs 066-3054-04 $350 VSI C661080-0101 - $50 Altimeter 22-374-B012 - $200 KMA24 audio panel - $150 Manifold and fuel pressure garage. 22-469-01A - $125 Attitude indicator 5000B-10 missing screw - $200 ADF loop antenna 4500 - $20 VHF com KY197 064-1021-05 - $375 Mac1700 nav/com 82-01445-008 - $475 KNS80 - $120

Since this post, my A&P has flushed the cooler - found no concern or debris. He also tested the function of the vernatherm and that looked good. The oil lines are from 2021 and seem to be in good order. He did find one thing - I have the oil filter relocation STC. This leads to a connector being mounted to the back of the engine where multiple oil outflows exist. The incorrect gasket was present, blocking about 40% of the larger oil flow hole (pardon my lack of vocabulary on this). We are waiting for the replacement gasket to arrive.

Hello! My CHTs and EGTs seem fine, though oil temp in cruise with cowl flaps open is around 224F and is around 228F with them closed. I've been looking at discussions on here for what to seek out. Called Robert Brown of LASAR and he advised that there should be a metal plate on the back side of my cowl-mounted oil cooler with 4 holes in it. He said the purpose is to slow down air flow. Is anyone familiar with this part? I don't have it on my plane and have not found the piece or drawings/photos online. Thanks!

I'm not sufficiently handy to go it alone on something like that Bruce Jaeger himself came and installed the interior panels this past summer. He also reconditioned the upper panels.

Good question. It is just a few inches off-center, relative to the yoke rod, so it is still comfortably in forward view. But I just got the plane out of the shop a few weeks ago so I haven't put a lot of time onto this avionics platform just yet, so I don't have a solid response for you at this time.

I really don't follow. Matt was thrilled that it only took 3 weeks to apply the color. The airplane was at the shop for 10 or 11 weeks... Matt's work began once the airplane was already stripped, repaired, alodine'd, primer'd, and brought to base coat white. Matt worked right between white and the clear.

Working out a possible static display agreement

I'll be there Tues-Thurs with the plane, possibly longer!

I don't know the difference (have not done a comparison), so I guess not

Thanks! I have only flown this plane this week with the full package complete. I'll have to test that.
