1. skydvrboy yes that’s exactly why they are positioned where they are. Thanks for the heads up, I will research that and adjust accordingly. [emoji1688]
2. Are those wingtips is see? If so are they for a C model?
3. One thing I wish I would have got on mine is the pull tabs on the shoulder portion adjustment bracket thingy. FYI
4. The entire setup, lap and shoulder for 200$. Lead time for me was about 2 weeks.
5. Order a set from Hooker harness. Each side is 200$

7. Same guy also suggested that. I have the inflatable door seal but it leaks. When I do pump it up it solves the noise issue.
8. Good evening all, My 63C model has a small gap, maybe 1/16 near the top of the door. A buddy of mine says he recalls a mod that adds a pin up there helping it to close better. He said to look for it on Lasars website but I’m having no luck. Any thoughts?
9. No worries. Engine is new, prop has 9 hours on it.
10. The entire engine was rebuilt.. Lol. Seriously tho, all brand new parts less the case and crank (overhauled).
11. It’s a 63c model with an O-360-A1D. The prop has been cycled many many times. I have 7 quarts in the engine and no leaks. I think the air is in the case somewhere. Lycoming operators manual suggests that as well for low oil pressure. Next weekend I am goin to check the pressure at the nose and see if I’m within limits.
12. Thank you for the reply. And yes I’m beginning to think there may be an air bubble in the system somewhere. Lycoming instructions were followed when filling and oiling the system per the manual.
13. Greetings, So I’m putting the finishing touches on my overhaul and some general updates on the airplane. Today I went to take it for it’s first flight and had an issue. On startup and down to the run up area my oil pressure was ~80. I perform a run up, all is well until I cycle the prop. Oil pressure drops to about ~55 and never returns to ~80. I bring the rpm back to 1000 and the pressure goes up to ~60. If I add throttle the pressure drops back to ~55. The prop reacts immediately and rpm returns etc... Just oil pressure. Temp is showing ~160 during this. I have an 8 hour snew prop and a pcu5000 governor. Any thoughts?
14. I finally finished installing my OH’d engine today. What do you all think of how it sits? As of right now there are no shins installed. It looks to me like it could come down and right (as pictured) from where it is now. Thoughts?
15. Check out redbubble for all your sticker needs.
16. My crows feet are too big to fit in the little pocket. I followed the advice above and removed the inside lines and was able to get the old one off. I will have to bend a wrench to get it back on I think. Thanks all for the advice so far.
17. It’s a 63 C model.
18. Thank you both for the replies. My crows foot won’t fit so tomorrow I will try to bend a cheap wrench. And yea I think taking off the fuel lines on the engine side may help. This hose has to be older than me...
19. Greetings, does anyone have any tips or tricks on getting the fuel line off the back side of the firewall that go to the electric pump? I cannot get a wrench or crows foot way back in the to get it off. 63 C model.
20. What’s the time on the prop?
21. If you wanna pay shipping both ways and a deposit you can use mine.
22. Where are you located?
23. I’d bet you a dollar Alan Fox has what you need.
