  1. Someone remastered an old movie into 4K and here’s a scene of the B36 taking off. amazing!
  2. I did my 6 approaches last night for currency. Spoke to Phoenix approach for approaches into Cottonwood, Sedona, Prescott, and Deer Valley. I was on with her for about 2 hours, except for the approach into Prescott when I went over to tower. On her frequency, in the entire time, I heard one other airplane, a Delta flight.
  3. Flight aware says it was you. You landed at 7:43, I landed at 7:47
  4. Was that you landing as I was on downwind? Friday right about 8p
  5. NorCal Tracon sees them. I was climbing out of Mather, VFR. I switched over to approach to get FF, and the guy was calling me out as traffic to a plane in front of me (I had him in sight, we were getting close). Controller called me out by tail number asking if I was on frequency.
  6. I saw that yesterday, for some reason, the CDC cut the covid deaths almost 50%. That's pretty significant without any explanation
  7. There's not even real definitions there. It uses terms like "significant" and "rare" without defining what they mean. Does no significant new cases mean 100 a day? A 1000? 10?
  8. That's what I'm really afraid of. I could maybe accept whatever the plan is, if I I knew what it was. But no one is saying, and the politicians keep moving the goal posts. Sooner or later, it's going to get ugly. Adults can only hear "2 more weeks" so many times.
  9. It was a knee jerk comment,I was upset, but it is his fault there is no certainty. The goal posts keep moving. Out governor isn't doing any better. I just wish someone would come out and give us a plan. What's the endgame? 2 more weeks every 14 days is a disaster. That said, cancelling OSH was probably the right thing to do, no matter what the Government had to say...
  10. We're all adults. There's more than enough data to know what the situation is with the virus. If it was being held, id go without reservation
  11. The right call by the EAA. Too much uncertainty from the WI governor.
  12. The useful listed in the Ad is 854 lbs. Maybe they're misinterpreting and giving the payload with full fuel?
  13. That plane is basically why I made this post lol. But the useful load is abysmal. Id have trouble getting my whole family in. Even without full tanks.
  14. I know... And I truthfully know my C inside and out. I just wish it had auto pilot and a bigger back seat. It's pretty much exactly the way I want it. But....
  15. Well, she really wants a 36 series Bo. But that's not gonna happen. I just don't like the way it feels from a pilot perspective. I'm not in a hurry (read: I'm too broke to buy one right now) but I'd kinda like to start looking around.
  16. I can't say I disagree. I love my C. But I'd really love a faster bigger Mooney. Whats the going rate on a decently equipped 252?
  17. I have a decent one. It needs work, but I have no idea how bad his is I sent him a message.
  18. I usually run one tank to empty, like engine quitting empty, when on long cross countries. If I do that now, I get a warning all the time for low fuel, even though I have nearly 3 hours of fuel remaining. I’ll have to send an email to JPI to see if I’m overlooking something. Seems outlandish that they would require a red warning light flashing all the time when only one tank is empty.
  19. According to the manual, its factory set as required by the POH. I don't see any kind of low fuel warning in the POH, so I don't know where they got that
  20. I think the problem is I need to run it down a little more but not so much that it's really "low". If I change it right at the warning, the sender (cies) bounces a little and trips the warning again and again and again.
  21. Yeah, that could be installed, but the display on the edm flashes too....hard to tape over that lol
  22. Seems kind of stupid to force a warning light that doesn’t mean anything. It only serves to program you to ignore it....
  23. I’m not seeing how that’s going to fix it. I’ll either have no alarm at all or have to live with the blinking light and warning on the screen. I ran one tank dry to see if that would “fix” it. Nope. I just got a continuous (every 20-30 seconds) flashing red light. I can’t see how to change the fuel alarm to an overall low fuel warning, VS a warning per tank.
