  1. Lol! I was quoted 4 to 5 hours. Then given a 4000 bill. What a shameless guy. I told him he should have given me a call to update me.
  2. He had a good a reputation! He just turned a crook! I told him that I will never come back to him and paid my bill in full. He will not give me Warranty. Apparently weep no more charges 7k to seal both tanks with 7 year warranty . Please don't go to this Guy!
  3. I had the fuel leak from the tank around the wheel well! I took my plane to LASAR. Original estimate to fix the leak was 4 to 5 hours Picked up my plane today and my bill was 4k. In addition I was told there is no warranty on work. Any thoughts guys? My plane is 2007 ovation 3. They only sealed the area around the leak.35 hours of labor charged
  4. Hi! Jeff, just curious . You turned off the alternator switch and turned on the emergency bus switch on ovation 3 to test the back up alternator. I have not tested my back up alternator yet. Is this the correct procedure to test you backup alternator on Ovation 3. Thanks
  5. the alert persist throughout the entire flight no matter what. I have also checked the Aux page and all of my equipments are working with green check marks. I have reloaded the data cards to make sure data is matching in the PFD and MFD. I have GFC 700 and I have also played with autopilot switch as suggested above. Any suggestions will be appreciated. This is alert is just annoying! lol

  7. Any suggestions? I have reloaded the SD cards and restocked the GIA63's without any success. Any thoughts will be appreciated. G1000 works fine even with the alert. KJ
  8. Looking for some feedback. I was unable to turn on the electric fuel pump with" low fuel" switch. Pump worked fine with "Hi fuel" pump switch. I am not sure if my switch has gone bad. Any feedback appreciated!

  11. I was told by Garmin that my G1000 on Ovation 3 2007 does not support safe taxi and flight charts since software was not updated by Mooney. Can I confirm this with other Mooney pilots. Thanks

  20. I am landing on the mains for sure ! What is the usual speed just before starting flare on Ovation 3. I am either coming too speed or flaring little bit too high or lifting the nose bit too high?
  21. I am the new owner of ovation 3 2007. I tend to bounce on my landings. I am trimmed all the way back. and I am 71knots over the numbers. Any suggestions from the ovation 3 pilots? I am not sure if I am flaring bit too high. Help? Thanks
  22. I just bought a mooney ovation 3 2007. I have landed the plane about 10 times over the last 10 days. I tend to bounce on the runway. my speed over the numbers is about 70 knots. I am trimmed all the way back. I am not sure if I am flaring little bit too high. I am about 2500 hours pilot including Baron 58P time. Any suggestions from Mooney ovation 3 pilots?
