  1. Aviation consumer has a nice comparison of update costs http://www.aviationconsumer.com/issues/45_9/fullissue/1509_AC_Sept2015_lr.php
  2. I see spec as a link below first pic
  3. Looks like fun Lets try this, Looking at the graph i can see startup, then at min 5 higher power taxi or warmup attempt, min 8 runup, min 10m takeoff... Drops in preasure correspond with hikes of MAP and FUel flow, so when u make engine work and cycle the oil around the system do you have oil temp graphed as well ?
  4. Ooh, not great, I would consider reporting fraud... And I am adding another pre-buy check to the list for myself...
  5. Yeah, DA40, i flown a bit, has a pump to move fuel from one wing to the other as it can feed engine from only one wingtank... Old Mooney hard to reach valve, in turbulence, without A/P, sounds like fun... Not
  6. Here comes a newbie question... Do you need to change tanks in flight on Mooney, like on Pipers?
  7. Hello, I hope there are still some old continent souls left on this forum, who could help me in my quest to aeroplane ownership, where a Mooney is a high ranking beast. As I have never been an owner and most of the talk here happens about Mooneys registered on the other side of the pond, I am curious how Europeans are dealing with modifications, to their Mooneys. Can we have all the speed mods on older airframes done and approved in EASA Kingdom ? Is there a problem to register American Mooney import in EU with mods already done, for which EASA has no approval ? Cheers
  8. Ooh, nice, i'm wondering if it could be used with the MLAT data as well ( naturally relative to you in motion, without triangulation ) similar to how Zaon does with MRX
  9. Are you feeding ADS-B from rPi to some standard app on ipad ?
  10. ALP, In regards to missing traffic, I would open a support case with manufacturer developer team, even if they will not fix it, would be nice for them to clarify to us, that its possible. To me it looks like technology which they use for message queue, expires messages before all subcribers ack receiving them. There could be many reasons, from queuing policy to h/w limitations of stratus, why this is happening. Sorry to drag it like that, it's my professional curiosity, I work with systems like that, in a different industry.
  11. ALP, Can you describe the differences in traffic you see ? It maybe just some subscription/message pooling issue, these are little networked computers and "just reboot" is not a fix.
  12. Yes, pretty dead out there and i didn't get down to reading ancient topics, yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Carusoam, thanks for the pointers. I live in UK and started thinking about ownership some time ago. One thing about aeroplanes, is that there are plenty of them in US, not so many in Europe, and prices look twice as high here. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. That makes me wonder, what would ferry for a Mooney cost? ( US of A to UK ) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. What about surefly mag replacement, did you guys see them ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
