  1. I got mine at eFlightManuals.com
  2. I noticed it in my 75F this last annual also and was wondering the same thing.
  3. From Frank at Mooney: "Vince, I have looked further into the Scat Tubing – This maybe your item: The one I sent earlier was on the lower baffle – This one is on the upper (P/N 600208-3 baffle)" (SEE PICTURE) Added response: "There is a reference “Note: Route End of 640001-19 Duct, approximately 2 Inches from fuel pump directing air stream around pump.” " The engineering doesn't show a shroud for my model. I did reply to make sure that the tube is indeed loose and directed at the air pump only, but if there was supposed to be a shroud, I would expect to see it here. I'll confirm his response. I don't have the manuals for pre-1975 models, so I'm not sure if this is a change from earlier models. Thanks all!
  4. My mags have a hard tube as well, the smaller hole under the one I'm asking about. I guess my circle was too large and encompassed a couple penetrations. I'll dig around, thanks all. I'm scrubbing the IPC for these suggestions now. If only there was an electronic searchable version out there.
  5. I've been looking through my maintenance manual and IPC, but haven't been able to locate the purpose of the penetration shown in the attachment. I can find the "connector" on the aft side of the baffling, but I can't seem to find what, if anything, is supposed to be connected to it. I've had an oil cooling problem and we've done everything we can except overhaul the oil cooler. Before I do that, I'd like to verify that this shouldn't be plugged and will maybe fix the airflow. Thanks!
  6. Same thing was happening when I bought my '75F. In my case, the previous owner had some mods done and the wiring diagrams weren't followed properly. I wish I could tell you exactly what it was that was wrong, but a lot of wiring was removed and rerouted.
  7. I need to get my DG overhauled for the second time in as many years. I had it done by Aircraft Quality Instruments in Wichita in 2013, now a year out of warranty it precesses very badly in climbs and decents. Does anyone have a recommendation for a different shop? I don't know that I need to use a different one, but any input would be appreciated.
  8. Good timing on this post Browncbr1! My COM1 stopped transmitting yesterday for some reason, and my A&P thinks it may be the audio panel (KMA 20 TSO). I started exploring my options and thought to see what everyone thought on here. Sounds like the PS Engineering is the way to go if a replacement is necessary. Thanks all!
  9. My '75 F is Mariah. Welcome PoolDoc.
  10. I have the RAM suction mount and afix it to the front-lower corner of the rear passenger window so I can reach it if necessary.
  11. I just flew a short 2 hour XC yesterday and I'm kicking myself for not thinking about kicking back with my 32" inseams. I am contemplating the extension pedals so my much shorter girlfriend can reach the pedals when she finishes her private.
  12. I was heading down for GYH, probably about 4k MSL around there. I always make the mistake of trying to cut through GSP airspace to get home and they usually route me completely around them for no good reason and I think 33A was about when I contacted approach.
  13. I almost tried that departing the fly in, but figured it was the wrong audience for trying something new. [emoji4]
  14. Thanks to everyone who set this up! It was a gorgeous day, fantastic food and great people. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Oh, spoiler alert if you haven't watched the game yet, Ohio State won! O-H!
