CT or Central MA flight schools with Mooney rental

I am wondering if anyone out there knows of a flight school in Central CT or Central / Western MA that rents M20F or M20J aircraft.  I am interested in getting checked out and seeing if it will fit (me &) my flying needs of IFR, 2 pax, 300 NM radius before I move towards a purchase decision.

Your 2 person mission is ideal for a mooney. There very comfortable planes. I also like the cabin better than say a Piper arrow. Instrument panel is a little closet but leg room is awesome. Like sitting in a corvette.

True. My wife & I travel 300-400 nn in our M20C regularly. Our longest trip so far was 1320 nn each way, with sightseeing stops.

If you are 5'3" to 6'7" (the range on this Board), you'll fit just fine.

Unfortunately I know of no school renting one. I am based in fitchburg but my plane is undergoing an engine overhaul, otherwise I would have given you a ride.

If you are willing to wait 2 months I can still give you a ride.

I am not a CFI however, so I cannot check you out.
