yvesg Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 The Mooney is in the paint shop. Old wing covers are at the end of their life and use bungees with metal hooks that are no good for the paint. Time to shop for new wing covers. I am in eastern Canada so we have fairly hard winters here. I want them black so the sun will help melting snow and ice. What is the best material for my situation so that they survive several years? Yves C-FQKM Quote

BorealOne Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 It's a short hop to Aero-covers at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport. They make an excellent product out of black polyester. Order online, fly out to pick them up, and they'll make any adjustments required to get the perfect fit at no cost. http://www.aerocovers.com/index.shtml Quote
