Excuse me, but I don't get it.  Your first asking price was $200 plus shipping and then you said you lowered the price to $200.  I guess that means that you lowered the price by the amount of the shipping costs.  Anyway, it really doesn't matter.  I would like to convert my newly acquired 1965 M20C from generator to alternator, but am uncertain as to what that entails.  Do I need to change the voltage regulator also?  Anything else?  Can my mechnic just unbolt the existing generator and bolt on your alternator in its place?  What about any wiring changes?

Thanks,

D

Sorry about the confusion I was thinking I had offered it at one time for $250. The alternator is sold though. As for your conversion I would ask a Mooney Service Center.

You also need the C-shaped bracket that bolts to two ears to engine case, and the arm with a slot that goes to the adjusting bolt. I may have the arm.

This may be the one for you, if not, it is very similar.  The Lycoming parts catalog will tell you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lycoming-O-320-Alternator-Mounting-Bracket-P-N-76906-0550350-1-/121070921118?pt=Motors_Aviation_Parts_Gear&hash=item1c3063a59e&vxp=mtr
