29-0363 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 The built-in AVOX O2 tank has to be retired from service after 15 years, so I guess there must be some folks on this list with a M20R or M20M that will have replaced theirs in the last few years. I would appreciate input from the list as to whereabouts they purchased the replacement tank, and roughly what they would have paid. Quote
davidsguerra Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 www.aviationoxygen.com seems to have a monopoly. buyer beware though, they tried to sell me the wrong tank for my aircraft, then charged me 15% restocking fee when i changed the order even though it was never shipped. i canceled it and got a used bottle instead. HeyChuck Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 I have also been shopping for a replacement, and was recently quoted $1,766 from aerox.com (part # 4110-200-4 (Cylinder, Composite, Kevlar, Rev C, 115 Cuft). They stated the bottle is PMA'd with a certificate of conformance, and that an 8130 document would cost an additional $150. Quote
