M20C windshield center bracket hardware

Any thoughts on where I can source the weird little brass (I think it's brass...?) nut that goes through the center metal plate and on out to the outer metal plate down the middle of the windshield? There are 12 of them. Mooney says they're part number 914071-3. 
 

Or, is there an alternative that's permissible? I'm not a purist  I just have one that's totally jammed, and I don't want to drill it out without a replacement in hand.

Search for Chicago nut, if memory serves. They come in a variety of diameters and lengths, so you'll need to either measure one or get the sizing from the parts list (if it's shiwn).

Thank you, that helps a lot. There are scads of them in all shapes and sizes commonly available. Just knowing that name helps tremendously.
