Andy95W Posted April 18, 2023 Report Share Posted April 18, 2023 That is where the old shock absorber was mounted. There is a Service Instruction that allows for its removal. EricJ Posted April 18, 2023 Report Share Posted April 18, 2023 I think that's the top mount for the shock absorber, which wound up not doing anything so they've been removed from most airplanes.
