Greg Ellis Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 This happened this morning about a mile away from my dental office. Small plane lands in Fort Worth field, only pilot on board - CBS DFW (cbsnews.com) Quote
PeteMc Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) Any other links? CBS requires me to disable my AdBlocker to see the link you posted. ADDED: Found another link... But there does not appear to be any audio. Tried some other YouTube videos just to confirm, and no issues on my end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJmhuG5aRFM Were there any injuries? Greg Ellis Posted August 30, 2022 Author Report Posted August 30, 2022 No injuries. One person on board. No audio at all with the video for some reason. Quote
carusoam Posted August 31, 2022 Report Posted August 31, 2022 Looks like a combo of engine out and gear up… on the V-tail… Nice field for an off airport landing… Best regards, -a- Quote

But they also said he was trying to make it to Spinks airport. If you look at his flightaware track, I don't think that was the case unless he was very lost. The red circle is Fort Worth Spinks Airport. 1 Quote
