So, if you are looking for a way to remotely activate your aircraft's preheater this season you need to have a SwitcheOn. You can remotely active one of SwitcheOn's plug (we call them channels) to turn on airplane engine or cabin heaters. I use SwitcheOn to turn on my Bonanza's engine block heater and Tanis cabin heater from the comfort of my home. I also have my gas powered tug plugged into it along with my work bench light. The app has features to allow it to activate at specific times or on/off by specific temperatures. There are no sim cards, confusing text messages, or activating a cell phone to make it work. It just works. The 2 channel 15 amp (2 plug) device sells for $199.20, the 4 channel 15 amp (4 plug) device sells for $303.20.
