Just reporting a sad thing I learned today.  A Mooney M20C I had some exciting adventures in way back in the late sixties crashed in Canada this summer. N78886 had been exported to Canada as C-GTIJ. It seems to have been weather related. The lone pilot did not survive. Bummer.
