Possibly the micro switch for the gear warning circuit, it normally trips in the last few millimetres of throttle travel when closing the throttle. Clarence Edited July 28, 2020 by M20Doc
bradp Posted July 28, 2020 Report Posted July 28, 2020 It’s the micro switch. You can look under the panel and watch it work. It will make about 1400 rpm on startup from cold so I hit it and back off a bit when starting. 2
N177MC Posted July 28, 2020 Report Posted July 28, 2020 (edited) Gear warning switch. Depending on how it is adjusted, should be just over idle, about 1/4" in from full out. Needs to be really quiet to hear it - forget it if you have avionic fans and other noise. Edited July 28, 2020 by N177MC 1
