Garmin G5 RS 232 input

Please take a look at the picture, does the RED X mean my G5 not getting the GPS data from my GTX 335?

It could mean that your 335 isn’t set to mapmx protocol 

could mean it’s missing ground

could mean wrong signal wire pin.  

Could be combo of above.

Ring out the RS-232 wires. Also check configuration on GTX 335 and G5. Let me know if you need any help.
