tmp1545 Posted August 28, 2018 Report Posted August 28, 2018 On disengaging my autopilot on a flight this afternoon (1979 231K with a kfc200 autopilot) my electric trim switch alarm light engaged. I turned the switch on and off and the alarm light continued to flash. What is this indicating.
carusoam Posted August 28, 2018 Report Posted August 28, 2018 On my KAP150... If the electric trim is not operational... (turned off). The AP is unable to complete its start-up tests... i assume it knows if the electric trim fails along the way and alarms when it shuts off the AP. I don’t recall what lights, bells and whistles occur when... but it is the same as when I deactivate the AP intentionally... Is that what you are seeing? Best regards, -a-
