Are you talking the actual hinge of the door? Or the hinge that holds the bag door open? I’m talking the one that holds the door open.
The actual hinge at the top, not the part that holds it up

Boiler.... I had mine replaced a few years ago. Some of the segments were ripped, I have a feeling someone took off and the door came open in flight causing the damage, it was before my time as owner. It is standard piano hinge that I bought from spruce. Same piece of hardware that was on the airplane originally.

Not being a sheet metal guy I had my shop do it. It was not a big expense do have the pro do it.

If you do it, the door will be off the plane, and its a good time to replace the door seal if it is showing signs of wear. That is a job I did, and most of it is the grunt work of removing the old sealant.

I replaced mine.  It came in a large section that A&P cut and fitted.  I have a section somewhere I would sell.  Mine is a ‘66 E.  I think I bought the part at Spruce.

I've not bothered replacing mine but I would probably just go to the boat supply store. The hings looks the same to the stuff they sell their by the foot for seat backs, etc.

You need to know if the hinge is open or close eyed.  MS20257 or MS20001 series.
