seebruce Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Has anyone tried Aeroseal to seal weeps? Quote
MooneyMitch Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Hi Bruce. I have used Aeroseal in the past with mostly very good success. I used it on my F model years ago and sealed up several weeps, with the exception of one spot that would never seal. I also used it a couple of years ago on Jolie's E. Very good success also. Again with one exception. This was due to the fact that I missed one weep location on the first pass. I did not get a second chance as I had used all the product. At the time I procured the Aeroseal for the E, Norm Smith [creator of Aeroseal] was having some serious medical issues. It was very difficult to obtain the batch from him. Norm passed away about one year ago. I do not know if Aeroseal is still being produced by anyone. If my memory serves me, Aeroseal did have a short shelf life of approx. one year. If you do come across some, be aware of this factor. Quote
MooneyMitch Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 With all that said, I did Google search Aeroseal Mooney and found this link: http://www.aeroresourcesinc.com/store_/index.php/cPath/77 Quote
