laytonl Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Anybody got a good source for an LED replacement for GE-1818 lamps? These are the 28-volt overhead lights in my MSE. Lee
RocketAviator Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 Not sure about what appears to be the LED element cover! http://industrialleds.com/1818-led.html $6.05 24 V
RocketAviator Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 Lee maybe this is a better fit, I am going to order the 1816 12 V version http://industrialleds.com/catalogsearch/result/?order=relevance&dir=desc&q=1818
jetdriven Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 That looks like a BA9S base. The bad thing about an LED dome light is that the factory 2-position switch won't work. The bulb will be at full brightness all the time.

jetdriven Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 I only use it when I'm getting out of the thing at night or if the panel lights fail. It's still worth doing and I have one, and it's really bright. And you can only leave it on for 200 hours before it kills the battery.

I assumed Spruce would have these, but didn't see them. I will go with an industrial supply site. Thanks guys, Lee
