  1. Won't an oil seperator also recycle some of the moisture back into the also?
  2. Plane Plastics has window beading in almond color that will match your plastic color.
  3. my STC paperwork says it is a Gear Alert System P/N 2037 made by Aircraft Componets of Safety Harbor Fl. Did a quick search of the internet and didn't find them but the system is advertised in the Aircraft Spruce catalog for $1,438.00.
  4. My mooney has a gear alert system installed . It has a sensor installed on the belly that detects the distance from the ground. When you get closer than 150' a nice female voice comes over the speaker and says " CHECK LANDING GEAR..CHECK LANDING GEAR".
  5. My C has #6 screws in the dog house and #8 most other places . A type "A' screw has a pointed end and a Type "B" has flat end, you can specify the type you want when ordering.
  6. tinnerman nuts, Aircraft Spruce has several to choose from depending what style and size you need
  7. Cover your air intake, cover your cowling with an old blanket, insert and old style 100W drop light with a metal light bulb guard into cowl flap opening and close cowl flaps. This is not for a quick preheat, but will maintain a nice warm engine and can be left pluged in all winter or just when a cold snap is forcast. Put a thermometer inside your cowling, plug it in and come back in a couple of days and check it , you will be surprised
  8. 100W light bulb does wonders
  9. Plane Plastics has the rotory dial vents. They are not PMA approved so you will have to send in 1 of your oem vents and Plane Plastics will make you as many as you like. Sending in your OEM gives them the proof to satisfy FAA that you participated in the production of the part making it owner produced and acceptable to the FAA.
