If you have an alternator field switch or switches, as in my case, the POH for your model should give you the appropiate proceedure. My book says ON before engine priming, OFF before turning the Master off. curt

I'm not sure how much different a IV is, but back in 1992 I bought a PA28R Arrow II and put about 10 hours on it. Then sold it.

I check for loose sheetmetal screws, electrical connectors, and oil leaks.

Been out playing with the new gps. I'll look into the SAM unit after I get a real good feel for what the 750 can do without it. I'm old school and still love flying IFR without the flight director. Keeps us older guys crisp.

Recently had Muncie Aviation in Indiana install a GTN 750 and remove the 430. After a little bit of discussion, they ended up being extremely competitive and I also received 5 hours of instruction from a very competent employee pilot. It would have been nice to keep the 430 but I needed the trade in value and down the road I will have a 650 put in when I can afford it. Just wanted to share a couple photos. curt

Having trouble making an album in the gallery page. Getting stuck when it asks me to choose a parent album. I'm assuming the parent album should be mine, but I cannot find a way to create one. And, will there be a way to link photos from say Photobucket in this text areat? thanks

Thanks all. Looking forward to some fun. I'm planning on putting in a GTN 750 soon and taking out the 430W. Take a look at the picture below. During the prebuy I had to make sure the cylinders were not pitted due to the low time. The plane is also free from corrosion. Original paint and interior still look almost new. I'm having a hard time with the glitches on the site. Nothing is working in the text menu bar. Be nice if someone could address the issues.
