  1. Condors with new tubes. $100 and $50. So $300 for a pair with new tubes. It's risk management. Put in new tubes everytime. Previous owner put a Goodyear on the front.
  2. Interested in the main gear donut changers. I have the "overcenter" torque tool that I purchased. I'd like to rent these changers as well. Great!!! I have donuts that I bought for $87 last year. Changed the nose ones on a hydralic press when we were doing the nose gear rebuild in March.
  3. I have used it 1 time at night a couple weeks ago in Endicott NY to Ithaca NY. It seemed ok. But let's face it, these single lights are nothing compared to a car headlight. Much better than my old Cessna 140 wing mounted light. I cannot wait to try it more times at night. But usually the airports I fly into at night have good runway, and taxi lighting. So it's hard to say really how well it works. It is pretty impressive straight on looking at it day or night.
  4. I paid tax when I bought my Cessna 140 in IN to the state of VT and then I had to pay tax AGAIN when I sold it to a guy in NH! Oh and I paid tax on my experimental Quickie Q2 to VT when I bought it in PA. And I paid tax on my Mooney in VT when I bought it from a broker in OK! I think I own an airport in VT with all the taxes they've made me pay. I got penalties too on the Cessna when I bought it and when I sold it. I hate this state. Vermont!
  5. That's a great idea, never thought of that. Watch the single probe EGT.
  6. I have installed an inline high torque SkyTec in my m20e. Love it. Cranks the engine over without any problems
  7. Not a modern Mooney but has the PAR46 installed. I leave it on all the time.
  8. Great information here. Thanks. I've been experimenting with my IO360 and LOP operations. I use 70-75% power settings to determine when to LOP. My EDM700 with the EI5L fuel flow next to it allows me to monitor LOP CHT temperatures as well as fuel flow. I too have a GAMI spread on OEM injectors at 1.0 gph between the peak cylinder (#3) and the leanest cylinder (#2). I've asked my mechanic to see if he could look at these numbers and see about swapping injectors around to try and swap the richest with the leanest and see if that helps balance the fuel flow to a closer GAMI spread. He doesn't believe in LOP operations or any of this information. He believes in low CHT's as being the best for your engine. I'll just have to bring him up for a ride sometime to show him what I'm seeing or download the EDM700 data. One weird thing is my engine runs smooth regardless of how much I lean the mixture. I guess this is good. I can lean until the engine basically loses so much power that it's on the verge of shutdown! So I would guess the balance is actually pretty good. Again, this is great information on LOP ops. Thanks.
  9. Great views of your plane from the ground. Good job too!
