  1. Thank you guys! Just to report that my mechanic found that the fuel pump delivers 40-50 psi and when activated the panel pressure gauge to high green range. Got to a point that we couldn’t start it. He found the right Mag not firing. Sent both sir service. Got it back today and he’s installing now. Will report tomorrow!
  2. Just had annual last month. I think pump is lazy. I will Try priming longer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve had my money bravo for 26 years, and it is always easy to start, weather call or hot days. Lately it’s difficult to start when cold. My normal procedure is full Rich press my throttle in for about 5 to 6 seconds to prime, then it will start right up with in a few cranks. Now I would do the same procedure then it would crank over and over and over in and not start. No I wonder if it’s too rich and flooded or I’m not priming enough?! Before I would prime after like about 3 to 4 seconds the buzzing of the fuel pump goes to a different tone when pressure is applied, now it is the same tone no matter how long I prime Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I don’t fly my plane much so I put Gill that can last me 3-5 years on the battery minder. Put in the Sealed Concorde and didn’t last as long Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’ve owned my M20M TLS for more than 25 years. Bought it with 600 hours. I’ve upgraded the cylinder head to the “Bravo” around 1200 hours when they had a special upgrade program. It now has 1700 since new. I’ve run my plane 34/2500 on climb at full rich. Cruise at 32/2400 all day long BUT my fuel setting is 19.7-20.0 gal/hour where I keep things cool. My compressions are excellent in mid 70’s. I don’t follow the leaning guidelines as it scares me to lean it that much. Hope that’s ok, I’d rather spend more on fuel than a rebuild! 10. U can only squirt it equal amount on the double plunger. If the product has been on the shelf long it’s not as effective Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Composite filler doesn’t stick to plastic. Acrylic resin would but I don’t have it on hand.[emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. JB Welding it with the new jb weld plastic but the stupid thing doesn’t set hard!!! [emoji35]. Must be old when I bought from auto zone!!! I removed the pin holding the 2 split toggle and going to use it again or just use/cut a pin from a same diameter rivet to replace it. The poor design of the toggle is thin plastic!!! Being a dentist I could’ve designed better! [emoji51][emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. When will you have it out? Why are you removing it, don’t you need it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Did the wobble test.....boroscope prior to finding out the springs broken....did not remove jug.
  20. Carusoam......don't scare me......I will call my mechanic to see if the valves moved freely and the rockers had no play!
  21. Ok....I can't post my attachment pics but I could put them on my gallery....! My plane runs so much smoother with new points, condensers on both mags, and new valve springs on cylinder #3.
