I got a adsb gtx330 that uses mode S for traffic avoidance. Works great but seems like it still is monitoring non adsb transponders. Anyone know what mode s is tracking now?

On the MS28755-224 brake Oring, I found the spec on the thickness to be between 0.135 inches and 0.143 inches. Every Oring I have ordered has been on low side of the spec. Has anyone measured the thickness with a micrometer and found a supplier on the higher end of the spec?

Made an order to Aerospace Welding Minneapolis with the same part number you listed. They had 4 in stock. I noticed Airplane Exhaust had the same part for $425, $300 less but none in stock otherwise I would of tried theirs.

Yes, after removing to take out for repair other cracks were seen. Looked like it had been repaired before.

That may work but they wanted ~$450 and may still need to go to the shop. A new one is looking like best bet. I was told mine was too far gone.

I have Falcon and rates have been going up about 10% last 2 years even after dropped my hull value. Been insured with them for over 20 years, never had a claim. If anyone has a recommendation for another agent I am all ears. Chris

Creekrat, hello, thanks for the reply. I went up yesterday and noticed the exhaust was a little loud. Came back to the ramp and the muffler side was half gone. Must of blew out. anyway, can you help me out? Chris

Yes, it has worked in the past. Started becoming intermittent then later stopped. So if I shorted Mic Jack Audio to Mic Jack Key In of the audio panel it should display transmit on the radio?

Does not work when using handheld microphone. Verified the plug used for intercom input had continuity with the PTT. If that is the problem must be between the intercom and audio panel.

Anyone have a trouble shooting guide for a PTT not working? Audio panel and intercom was checked out good on the bench. I have 2 coms and neither will TX when PTT is pressed on pilot or co-pilot side. As I understand it, when the tip and ring are connected (PTT) from the mic plug, TX should occur. Any help on checks would be great. layout is 2 coms, Narco CP36 audio panel, Sigtronics SPA400 intercom.

Needs some help checking an intermittent PTT failure. My configuration is a Narco CP 136 Audio panel, Com 1 is a 430W, Com 2 is a Garmin GNC 250 Nav/Com. My question is on the audio panel has one Mic Jack Key in, does both Coms feed the the same Mic Jack Key in? Com1 I have Mic Key In tied to Com2 Transmit Interlock then an isloation diode before connected to the Audio Mic Key In Com2, I have Mic Key In tied to Com1 Transmit Interlock then an isloation diode before connected to the Audio Mic Key In

Can anyone recommend a shop near Oklahoma that is experienced in Mooney aircraft to refurb the interior in a M20F? That being seats, carpet, ceiling, etc.

Center section leading edge fuel tank leak

I'm in Oklahoma, wanted to get some information then get with my mechanic and address the issue. He has done this before and to drain the tank, pop the access panel, set a patch, clean up the mess, and reseal the panel took just a couple hours. Just need to get the patch right. -
I have a small leak in the center leading edge fuel tank compartment of a F model. The access panel on top is in the back so the nearest leading edge access is the bottom panel. There isn't a way to view exactly where the leak is coming from. The leading edge access panels are at each side of the center tank compartment and there is a bulk head blocking the view. I've tried patch guessing in the past only to put fuel in and find out it was a bad guess. Anyone have any experience pin-pointing the location in this area of the fuel tank?
