Thanks for link but mine is a 68 f model. ARI's web site does not say what comes with their mod. One option says its sandwiched, not sure what that means. I tried calling ARI again today and sent an email. Never received a reply.

I'm putting in a 430w and 330 transponder, to add xm is about another 4k in hardware plus the increasing monthly charge. I only fly long trips 4-5 times per year so the cost is too much even for my 496. I've thought about getting with others that have a handheld to share the cost. Something like 2 people each with a 496 or 396, but one with xm. Need to use the xm just ship it to the other person. Anyone interested let me know.

I tried calling ARI to get some pictures of their cowling mods for my F but no one answers the phone. Has someone purchased from them recently? Chris
