  1. We plan to have the largest Gathering of Mooneys in the world next June at Lake Tahoe. We might have accomplished it last year had it not been for nasty weather. Stay tuned for more details as it gets closer.
  2. We'd love to have you join us for a fly-in and see that beautiful Vintage Mooney of yours!!! Or you could host a fly-in and we'll all come to you!
  3. Lemon Fresh Pledge is the best for windows and wings (anti bugs). Inexpensive and works fantastic!
  4. Last call for the Vintage Mooney Group to Page this coming weekend. Dinner at the Marina on Friday if you arrive early, our traditional Saturday arrival and ramp time with each other followed by lunch in the hangar on the ramp, $.55/gal off the price of fuel, a tour of the Antelope Slot Canyon on Saturday afternoon, and a flat water float down the Colorado River just below the Glen Canyon Dam on Sunday morning. Could it get better than that for Mooniacs? Check out the details at http://www.vintagemooneygroup.com/PREPage2009.htm Phil Corman
  5. Matt, missed you at the last fly-in so it will be great to meet you at Page. Sanjeev, hope you join us and get the details at http://www.vintagemooneygroup.com/PREPage2009.htm and also please REGISTER (FREE) so we get an accurate headcount for the ramp and for lunch. Fly fast, fly safe! Phil
  6. Not totally accurate. YOu can get an email "each time" someone posts, or you can "batch" them and get a bunch of posts in one email. Enjoy. You can set this up easily when you register, or go back to settings and specify which technique. Fly fast, fly safe. Phil
  7. We hope to make this the LARGEST gathering of Mooneys in the world. It's a weekend of fun and information, food and drink... with other Mooniacs Phil Corman
  8. Start a VMG... we'll help you with website and ideas to get it started.. what works for us in the West... it's very fun and rewarding.
  9. Quote: GeorgePerry Phil, thanks for getting back to me. What I had in mind was March/April Mooney fly in to PVG. It's right in the heart of the mid atlantic states making trip distance not too bad for anyone who wants to come. There are three navy hornet pilots that all keep our Mooney airplanes there. We could possibly set up a tour of the Navy base and F-18 flight line as part of the activities. That's the first thought that comes to mind, but I'm sure I could also set something up with local businesses or maybe our nearby Mooney service center. Just ideas right now...looking for feedback to see if interested merits more effort
  10. Quote: GeorgePerry I'm a member of VMG...and your right there's nothing for us "right" coasters. I offered to help act as an east coast point of contact but no one from VMG ever took me up on it.
  11. Checkout the Vintage Mooney Group at www.vintagemooneygroup.com. This is a fabulous group that does a fly-in most months to different locations in the Western USA. You can also meet existing members and often Mooney Service Center folks who will provide endless valuable information. Phil Corman N5722Q
