  1. Hello Paul, I've been trying to figure out the best way to put in an engine monitor. I like the JPI equipment but if I am thinking of eventually putting in a glass panel that does not leave much space on the left side of the panel. Is your 900 on the right? I'd love a recommendation.
  2. Sorry, I mean in front of the windshield.
  3. Well Mooneys scare even cartel pilots.... Cool. Well Mooneys scare even cartel pilots.... Cool.
  4. Hey Paul! All my previous logbook sweeps were looking for other things, I'll have to do a deep dive looking for this. The previous owner, while a great guy, hasn't proven very knowledge about these things. If I can't find an entry, I'll remove it with my A&P. I have to figure out why the altitude hold isn't working so I've got more rolling up my sleeves to do anyway.
  5. I think you're right. And I'll get another pic but it looks like some kind of DC connecter, with a center pin.
  6. When I was holding it in my hand, it looks to me like "BC", but interesting thought.
  7. OK folks, what does this switch do? I was poking around in the avionics bay trying to figure out why my altitude hold does not work and found this switch. I tried following the wires by tugging on them, but I lost track of what they go to. Any suggestions are welcome. I have B5 Brittain auto pilot which will follow a heading so that part is working. I was able to confirm it will throw the altitude hold solenoid by checking with a meter, but it does not appear to work in flight. I thought this switch might have something to do with it but when looking over the manual I could find no such switch. So I guess it is for something else, maybe a GPS annunciator but also not sure. The "BC" written on the side also defies my explanation at the moment. Also this connector next to it is also a mystery.ch for?
  8. Yes, the prop governor is on the right side, I had this impression, without remembering clearly, that the oil pump housing was also on the right side, but I guess it is not if you're looking at the drawings.
  9. The prop governor bracket, to me, is the big barrier that I'll have to think about. It's right there and not sure what I'd have to do to make the oil filter fit. Thanks for the reminder.
  10. Yes, I noticed that. I realize there must be a couple different PNs for the boot sizes.
  11. Yes, I was as surprised as you when I found out that it has altitude hold... well it does when the servos are working!
  12. Just bought a 1967 F and my elevator trim boots are bad, how do we start this up again?
  13. Can you refresh this link? I know it's been years :-D
  14. Thank you for the response! Did you require a spacer, or does that fit out of the box? I realize it's and extremely tight fit, and I'm OK with the "cons" because it's already a nightmare back there. Also assume the superior gasket under "Frequently Purchased with" is the one you bought as well?
