Pirep - Gee Bee Aeroproducts Baggage Door Seal
Gee Bee Aeroproducts replied to Z W's topic in General Mooney Talk
Those are aftermarket seal shown. left to right are the versions in silicone. I was going to offer BST foam seal , same as we mfg for late Textron aircraft . The mooney market will not pay the cost of this material extrusion. -

I believe the Bulb on the baggage door is rotated inward vs along the edge of cabin door . I have seen many original seals and placement of the bulb from used doors with Mooney part number on eBay . What aftermarket seal/ installation is different than oem seal . Note: I suggest one coat of seal and let dry or use hairdryer. Then wet seals in 3-5 inches increments and dry as you install. I have a new employee and she installed all inspection panels seals after painting of both sides and a avionics bay panel that the oem wanted 3375.00 for a replacement seal and 90 days . We duplicated the seal with a new die. We die cut .025 thickness for various inspection panels . Its all the same process -

Can't use rubber cement on silicone, rtv 806 will work, too thick , takes to long too setup. I sell sell thousands of cases of this silicone to government agencies and aircraft mfgs with canopies. 2.0 oz 57.50 4 oz 72.50 both with catalyst. -

Door remains open 12/18 hours to cure Cement is good for a few hours mix what you need , we now send 1oz bottles with catalyst. It doesn't matter what door is is or seal . mask both sides of the door where the seal is going to be installed. Apply cement to door, let dry Apply cement to the seal in 3-5 inch increments and attach to the door and dry in sections until your seal is completely installed and dryed . Let the seal cure. i stock various inflatable door seals and static seals with fabric that are attached via hardware to the airframe. We will be producing a new BST foam seal that is extremely soft . The seal is used on the utility doors on A36/58 models and MU2 . i will extrude and try it on the TBM model , the easiest aircraft to fly. Note: Material cost based on 12500 inches will be around 977.50 dollars in various shapes . Gee Bee -
Beechcraft updated there spec in 1972 to a dry pump from wet. when owners go all electric or dry they do the swap in tubing There are four versions on singles Iam the only one that has provided the ability to Cnc to sample in 304

Why return dirty oil to the engine They only reason to use a aos is too lazy to top the motor. If your blow by is that bad, then time to fix it. For the beech tcm I stock three variations of the correct engine breather tubes in 304 stainless steel. Next were duplicating the late Baron 55 that are nla in stainless steel. Jig cnc bend cross check in jig add ice hole Polish on Bandor Buffer Copy per sample for 70% in better lifetime material.

Toluene Brass brush or eraser wheel Ebay or Harbor Freight The more you mask, the less clean up With ams3301 silicone, apply one coat, let dry on the airframe. Apply coat to seal in 3-5 inch sections and dry with a hairdryer. We stock and sell tso door seals . Good luck -
