  1. Thanks, that's a bit too expense for him.
  2. A good friend of mine—Chief Pilot on a G550—is looking for a partnership opportunity in the PBI/F45 area. He’s a sharp, highly experienced pilot: meticulous, knowledgeable. He’s seeking either a partnership or a dry lease arrangement for any solid cross-country-capable aircraft. If you know of anything available or are interested in discussing possibilities, feel free to reach out.
  3. I'm looking for an aircraft to dry lease, or trade time for instruction in the CRQ area for June - Aug. I live around NYC but every summer one of our company jets is temporally based in CRQ.My flying would be one extended trip every month or so (2-3 days) plus 2-3 local flights per months All of my flying is pleasure and optional so there won’t be any scheduling conflicts.ATP, Gold Seal CFI (ASE, AME, IA), Professional pilot, 6,700 hoursPiston Contract & Mentor pilotCL300 & G550 Corporate PilotThanks,Paul
  4. Mine is not.
  5. Not mine.
  6. Is this still for sale? I sent you a private message @corn_flake.
  7. I also have a stratus 2 for sale.
  8. I was added as named insured on the policy. They didn't have a problem with it said it was more of a partnership as we were just sharing costs essentially.
  9. I'm not too particular. Just want to be able to take the airplane every now and again for family trips for a few days every now and again. Maybe take my son up for 30 mins, a few times per month. I had a similar arrangement with a gentleman in his PA-28-235 but it's now in pre-buy. I helped him offset some fixed costs and paid hourly for use of the aircraft. He wasn't able to fly it as much as it needed so it seemed to be a win-win situation. We're looking at buying a house in the next 6ish months so I don't want to buy at this time.
  10. Looking for an aircraft to rent / dry lease in the NJ/PA area. MMU/N40/SMQ/ABE/DYL etc. ATP CFI, Professional pilot, 6,500 hours
  11. Also here is NBAA's summary.
  12. In the professional aviation (121/125/135/91K/91F) world we have mostly gone entirely paperless including aircraft manuals, w&b, mx logs, LOAs, navigation charts. ICAO and the FAA don't really say what format documents need to be in: Paper, PDF or stone tablets they only say what documents need to be onboard. AC120-76D discusses EFB requirements for commercial carriers. So iPhone or iPad PDF or jpeg is fine.
  13. How do you track the market when you can only see asking prices and whatever VREF shows (which isn't every sale and is a lagging indicator at best)?
  14. Would you please send me a private message? I tried to send one to you but it said that you weren't able to receive them. Thanks.
  15. Yea I've heard good things about him. But he's only going to sell me his inventory right?
  16. I'm a potential first time airplane buyer. Is there a buyer's agent who specializes in Mooney?
  17. Nice plane. How much did the desktop appraisal cost you?
  18. What mount are you using on the right?
  19. Yea I tired that, in portrait the yoke blocks 1/2 the tablet, and it's too big to hold in landscape.
  20. My work provides me with a 12.9" iPad pro. I love it, and don't really want to buy another one just for the M20J I fly. What's the best mount and location for this beast?
  21. Thanks for the advice.
  22. I'm a professional pilot and who's looking at buying his first airplane. I currently live in Hunterdon County, NJ (N40) but am looking at moving to the Princeton area in Fall of 2021. I found an airplane to buy but would also consider joining an existing owner.
  23. I'm not going to be buying a plane anytime soon, but I've been looking just to educate myself. This seems like a great airplane at a good price, but I'm not very knowledgeable. What are your thoughts? https://www.trade-a-plane.com/search?category_level1=Single+Engine+Piston&make=MOONEY&model=M20J+201&listing_id=2374469&s-type=aircraft
  24. I'm discussing a partnership with a couple people. What's the most economical Mooney to operate? I'm more concerned with maintenance costs than fuel. I'm thinking avoiding any of the turbo and 6 cylinder models because of that.
