  1. Hey there, I’m the one that made that logo for gmonnig! PM if you’re interested in one. We can do basically any size and color!
  2. How did Garmin install the electric trim switch and autopilot cut off on your yokes (assuming you have the older style yokes)?
  3. I'm in the Kansas City area with a C and had an AD prop until recently. As far as I know there isn't a shop in Kansas City that does the ECI, I used to take mine to Aircraft Accessories in Tulsa and their pricing wasn't too bad from what I remember. Mike
  4. Thanks a bunch!
  5. Great news and thanks for update! Any idea on when it will be ready for the C?
  6. Yeah I bought mine used and it had OAT. Then I had Carb temp installed but just had it moved to a CGR30C. Both functions still cycle through when I fire it up. I’d be curious to see what they tell you, thanks!
  7. Hi, I have a JPI EDM 700 in my ‘66 C and need to remove OAT and IAT functions that were previously installed but removed. Anyone know how to reconfigure to not have these functions cycled through? Thanks, Mike
  8. I did this to my C about a year ago... it was a little more involved than expected. It took a lot of shaping to get the door to fit just right. Then I used these hole finders and drilled new holes. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200449272_200449272?cm_mmc=Google-pla&utm_source=Google_PLA&utm_medium=Air Tools %2B Compressors > Air Tools %2B Accessories > Air Punch %2B Rivet Tools&utm_campaign=Air Capital&utm_content=301102&gclid=CjwKCAjwxaXtBRBbEiwAPqPxcKuw4qBcts0LIoxdKxAOVi7PUm58rr-nh7eE7I8tBUI7niQ_IhkJvhoCl1EQAvD_BwE
  9. Why do you say trutrak is out of the picture? I spoke with them at their booth at OSH and he told me they were hoping to ship in october. I know they keep pushing this back but have you heard differently?
  10. Thanks for the help all, I've got a new tach installed and now just waiting on a tach cable.
  11. Thanks for the info, turns out the tach as well as the tach cable failed. I actually found a spare tach and had my mechanic put that in, now am looking for the correct cable. Do you happen to know if it is a right lay or left lay on the M20C? I looked on aircraft spruce and its kind of confusing to me how they want to determine which lay it is. I'm planning on just replacing the inner cable.
  12. I’m not sure how the cable is yet, the tach failed during my last flight and was wobbling all over the place. It was making a horrible screeching noise then the needle eventually fell off. After while it died all together and no more noise. I’m just looking for a quick fix so I can stay in the air till OSH where I’ll figure out which primary display I want to go with. So anyways I’m sure the tach cable is busted too but thought I’d start with the tach itself and see. Mike
  13. I'm looking for a working tachometer for my 1966 M20C. Have one by chance? Mike
  14. Thanks anyways but I ended up just purchasing a new one.
  15. Can you get the measurement from top to bottom as if you’re looking out? I’ve got a single piece to replace my old 2 piece but it might be too short. Thanks!
