  1. Well, I got my fine wire plugs installe, along with new gamis what a difference! My heat issues are gone! climbing out at 37" we are easily between 1000-1500ft/min at 20 gph We tried lean of peak and go 10gph at 155 true at 8000 ft, with 31" and 2400rpm. Not bad?
  2. Tried it out tonight to a headset...works as advertised! Mpow is on order! This will be sweet.
  3. I run my stratus and the SXAR1 so you should be able to pull from the flightstream. I don't have an audio panel with bluetooth, but I have a music input, so i'm trying to find a bluetooth reciever that goes to a 3.5m jack and powered by usb. Sure would love a 350C right now!
  4. What is the cheapest way to get GPS Steering on a KFC200?
  5. It looks like you can now stream music from the SXAR1 to a bluetooth receiver. I have a GMA 340 Panel but I do have a music jack on my panel. Being so new I doubt anyone has had a chance to try this but we'll need to find a bluetooth reciever to 3.5mm jack that works with the SXAR1.
  6. Looking for a 12V Nav/Com something like a KX155
  7. That is so slick. Do you have the MFD 2000 then? How do you pick which CDI drives the auto pilot? I'm assuming you could using the right CDI to drive the auto pilot and fly the ils approach?
  8. I'm hoping the 11,000 discount on the 2500 and throw in SV and AOA. That will make my day!
  9. Yes, I saw yours. Very impressed. I don't need two CDI's now, which is even better! With the discounts i'll probably get a MFD2000 or maybe the 2500. Definitely want SV but not sure the AOA is worth it. May also just stick with a EFD 1000 Pro too...not sure! Like being a kid in a candy store
  10. I saw that, it was basically a Aspen 2500 for the price of a 1000 PFD. Just need to ad SV and you are pretty set! Watched many youtube videos on it last night, pretty amazing stuff!
  11. But...they are so nice to have! Hopefully aspen comes out with some sweet deals for sun and fun on friday. for the price of a MFD 1000 you can pretty much buy a whole MFD2500! Just need to add SV.
  12. It's definitely a nice to have, but I don't *need* it lol. Here's hoping!
  13. https://www.aspenavionics.com/products/aps4a-altitude-preselect This is the preselect for the KFC.
  14. eventually I will go to a 900 or a 930, but it has a 700 and 450 fuel, so I can do the trade up program for now. Definitely doing the EA100, also looking at the module to give me altitude pre-select as well. We'll see if it fits into the budget.
  15. I'm in no rush for adsb. Im in canada so no worries for the next 3 years. I will have adsb in with the flight stream so that will help for trips south of the border. I have the SRXM1 for flying in canada. works great!
  16. Well, I think I made some headway on picking my upgrades. 1. Aspen PFD1000 Pro 2. Flight Stream 210 3. JPI 830 4. Replace the GNS300 with a KX155 that will also slave over to the Aspen This will give me GPS Steering, better engine management and a reliable HSI. Thoughts?
  17. Yes, i have an electric AI, maybe they have known about this issue for some time.
  18. Well, happy to report I went for 2 flights today. Both times it worked perfectly. Maybe it is a vacuum issue. I do have an elec vacuum so I'll do some more testing.
  19. It would be nice to have true gpss steering vs pointing the HSI at each waypoint, i've also read about many people who spend that 2500 and a year later they are doing it again...seems like a waste.
  20. If you were to replace the HSI and Attitude with an Aspen PFD do you need to bother with any calibration? Or would that be part of the aspen install?
  21. Ok, i'm sold. So what plugs should I order? Same top and bottom?
  22. This is what is does IMG_0680.MOV
  23. Mags checked out ok. I do have Gami's on their way and going to put in new tempest plugs. We'll see how that helps. I wouldn't think that the emd700 would be that much out to lunch just because it's old. I think there is a real problem.
  24. Thanks I'll give him a call!
