  1. Make sure you don’t get those mixed up with that other bottles you used… nice flight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Lance, Trying to learn all I can. Wondering why you weren’t with the 24-15? I see there are a lot of sub 24 models and Aircraft spruce list all of them for the Bravo. Is the 15 a happy medium or is that actually the one certified for the Bravo? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey Kerry, sorry for the misunderstanding. @bmcconnaha might know someone up there close.
  4. I’ve used Advanced over the year Gregg Is a great guy and it’s a good shop. Highly recommend them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yep, I would get a loan for an airplane long before I ever lived there…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I was thinking I read the 225 would but the 150 wouldn’t. I’ll have to do some more reading. I would still prefer a 2000 or newer Bravo though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I never hauled my sidewinder around with me and only used it to back my plane into its hangar. So I might be leaning to selling the sidewinder and going with an eztug or something like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They will take great care of you!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I would love to have a Mite sitting next to the motorcycle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That’s great to hear weights can be removed I was under the impression you couldn’t. I thought the KFC150 used the IA and needed the vacuum system. That’s awesome I was wrong. I’ve talked a lot with Cody over the years definitely the expert I am going to when it comes to props and he said at first I should put an MT prop on my 201, but last I heard he was thinking about putting one on his plane:) so maybe he’s been worn done about how great they are:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks Dan, You are right about putting a lot of effort into our planes. I got my IR in it and after over 700 hours I feel like I could fly a back course approach in it blind. The sidewinder I have is the old style that chews up the front tire, drove me nuts. I would love an Acclaim because who doesn’t want an Acclaim but I think a Bravo will fit my mission better. Living in eastern Oregon FIKI is a must come late fall through early spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That would be my upgrade if the sidewinder wasn’t for a Bravo. My buddy has one for his Bravo and it works great. The hangar I have now is an uphill incline and full fuel in the 201 at 38 I was getting angry having to push it in. So paid a lot for the sidewinder. It worked great. 13. The main reason I want a 225 is because everything would be electric and removing the dual vacuum system is easy. After making my 201 electric it made me happy flying IMC. The Bravo or Acclaim will be my forever plane so I’ll go full panel and the other gauges would get pulled out. Either install a JPI 900/930 or the G3x to have new engine monitoring. I want a remote transponder either controlled by a gamin 750 or IFD550. I like a clean panel. Other than being easy to get fully electric is being FIKI, living in eastern Oregon the MEA’s are no lower than 9k I’ve hated not flying a lot of the late fall, winter, and early spring:) I love useful load, so I’ll continue to pull everything out of the plane I don’t need behind the panel and under the hood. I plan on putting a 4 blade MT prop too. What is the criteria of Bravos with Charlie weights? I would prefer not to have a model with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. A mite would surprise me:) You could make it the coolest plane out there!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I definitely hate the thought processes some of them have at times!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It’s the insurance’s plane. I’m Bravo shooing now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. No thread on it. My 201 was involved in a hand propped runaway 172 crash. Ready to upgrade to a FIKI Bravo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Nice. That looks super doable maybe I’ll keep mine while I’m searching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I have a sidewinder and loved it with the 201. Just didn’t know with the longer nose and at least a 3 blade if You could really reach the handle or have it hitting the prop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Is a sidewinder power tow bar Bravo friendly? If not I’ll be selling one. It worked great for my 201, but imagine with the extra nose length and third prop it won’t workout very well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. If I remember right you’ve owned a few yourself:) I bet he’s going to regret that move. If you get any leads on a FIKI Bravo with a KFC225 AP and electric speed brakes send it my way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Cool, I’m finally on the search for my second plane. Are you thinking about buying your last 231 back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. There isn’t a lot of external damage if you were looking at it. But two wing ribs will need replaced, one of the ribs is the outside fuel tank, two wing skins, one fuselage skin that is connected to five other skins, and a flap could be reskinned. When it’s all said and done I’ll post lots of pictures and the story. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Back in a twin? When did that happen? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I feel your pain and don’t get down on yourself to much! I was backing my plane into my hangar a few years ago. Had to tow it all the way from the fuel pumps because my starter finally crapped out after I had limped it along for a month or two. It was late at night. I used my little lawn tractor to tow it. But it started spitting sparks out the exhaust. Got a little freaked out thinking it might catch on fire and burn my plane down as well. So I quickly disconnected it from the plane. Road it over to the hangar and lifted the hood to see if anything was on fire. I left the hood up. Grabbed my sidewinder to pull the plane the rest of the way to the hangar and thought I need to put the hood on the tractor down before I put it all the way in. Well you can guess I’m just those 2 or three minutes I forgot. The edge of the sheet metal tractor hood cut a line right down the aileron. Super not impressed with myself… Glad the damage happened for you while you were on the ground and everyone is safe. My plane is just about to be salvage because a guy hand propped his 172 and it took off on him and hit my plane. Shit happens. Hope you are up flying soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
