Grew up in Northeast Iowa on a small dairy farm with a passion for airplanes and fixing things. Figured I'd put the two together and attend A&P school at Indian Hills Community College. Graduated with my A&P in the Spring of 2010 followed by my IA in the Spring of 2014. Currently work as a mechanic/inspector for a corporate flight department where I troubleshoot and maintain Citation 550/560/750s, Beechcraft 1900Ds, EMB-120 and ERJ-135s. Been fortunate enough to attend several training courses including Aviall Ni-Cd and Lead Acid Battery Training, Flight Safety Citation 550/560 Familiarization, Flight Safety Embraer 135/145 Familiarization, Rolls Royce AE 3007A Line and Base Maintenance, Rolls Royce AE 3007A Borescope Inspection, and Michelin Certified Aircraft Tire Expert Course 1 & 2. I've been flying since October 2012 and am a co-owner pilot/mechanic of a 1976 M20F with three other corporate pilots.
